Wouldn't it be weird ....

If one day you woke up and found you were  born old
and not young.
If you grew down
and not up.
What if you said "yes" for no
and "no" for yes.
What if he was addressed as a she
and  she were addressed as a he.

What if kids were in charge
and adults weren't.
What If cats swam the sea
and fish walked the lands.
What if cats chased dogs
and mice chased cats.
What if by eating a lot you grew thin
and not fat!

What if we live in tomorrow
and looked forward to today.
What if the future were the past
and the past the future.
What if the sun shone at night
and the moon at day.
What if mom were to be called dad
and dad to be called mom.

What if you were me
and i were you.
What if our eyes were our nose
and our nose our eyes.
What if the rain were hot
and the sunlight cold.

It is a strange thought to think of,
As silly and wild as it seems,
What if  dreams were reality
and reality was dreams!
